Business Ownership: Start Young

Many people consider owning their own business. Over the past few years there seems to be an increase in young people wanting to start businesses. This is most likely due to young persons knowledge of technology.

Some people are against others starting so young. Because so many businesses fail most feel that experience can better your chances of success. Most say that instead of starting a business straight out of high school or college you should work first to gain experience.

Gaining experience first is not always the way to go, if you have the drive and the will to own your own business, you should pursue it as soon as possible. Even if you fail and make mistakes, you can learn form those mistakes so that in future ventures you wont make the same mistakes again.

Also a young person who fails at a business venture will only be risking a few hundred or a few thousand dollars and will have a lot of time to recover that money. On the other hand an older person can wait until they are 50 to start a business and lose it all. When you look at it form that perspective it is easy to see that starting your own business young isnt such a bad thing.
